Meet the Staff
Pastor Greg Dixon began serving First Baptist in June, 2016. It is his joy and privilege to preach and teach God’s word, equip the people for acts of service, and shepherd the flock of God. Greg has served churches in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas full-time since 1992. He has been married to Lorrie since 1994, and together they have three daughters, Hannah, Chloe, and Ruth. Greg earned a Bachelor of Music Education from SBU in 1992, a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Seminary in 2002. He has also completed coursework toward the Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. A favorite verse of Greg’s is this invitation from the psalmist: “Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!” (Psalm 34:3)
