Greetings, everyone!
TODAY the deacons are sponsoring a water distribution station at the Farmer's Market at Pony Express RV Park, 8 am - noon. We will be sharing the love of Jesus in a tangible way with the patrons and seek to engage them with the Gospel in a winsome way. If you can come out to help at any point during the morning, I encourage you to do so. We will be on the porch of the main building of the park. THE LORD'S DAY is TOMORROW! This Sunday is Disaster Relief Sunday, and we will be recognizing the many volunteers who are involved in disaster relief efforts, both in Missouri and across the country. Some of our church's own DR volunteers will be sharing about DR at the end of the service and highlighting training opportunities coming up. If you would like more information on those opportunities, visit mobaptist.org/dr/dr-training. Here are the Scriptures we will be reading in the morning service. Please spend a few moments reading and meditating on them. Click on any of the links to read a printable version of all the selected Scriptures: Fighter Verses: Psalm 20:6-8 Call to Worship: Psalm 84:1-4 Old Testament Reading: 1 Kings 8:1, 6, 10-11, 22-30, 41-43 New Testament Reading: Ephesians 6:10-20 Assurance of Pardon: Psalm 34:15-22 Sermon Text: Luke 7:24-35 Benediction: Numbers 6:24-26 COMING UP
ICYMI: Last Sunday’s Message "The Scandal of Jesus" Previous Week's Message "Do You Want to See?" Please visit our YouTube Channel to see the edited service video. READ THROUGH THE BIBLE schedule is attached. We are on Week 34. BONUS: On the table in the narthex you will find a couple of resources that you may find helpful. One is an evangelistic tract entitled Life's Ultimate Questions by Voddie Baucham, Jr. This tract takes an apologetics approach to sharing the gospel, and points people to Christ as the answer to all of life's ultimate questions. The other resource is a little card pointing you to a free audio bible app that you can download to your phone entitled Bible.is. This resource has the Bible in over 1300 languages in text, audio, and video. (Thank you to Jerry Scott for providing these helpful resources). See you in church!
