GREETINGS, EVERYONE! We have been in the deep freeze recently, but warmer days are just around the corner, or so I am told. Praise the Lord for sunshine and a little warmer temps today than yesterday.
NEW MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS started this week. Chances are good the word "discipline" does not strike a positive note in your heart. But when we speak of "spiritual disciplines," we mean habits or practices that aid in spiritual growth. Studying Disciplines of a Godly Man together should help form us into the spiritual leaders at home and church that the Lord would have us to be. It is not too late to sign-up for one of the groups. The book is available in the foyer for $14.

Five years later he will flee to Rhode Island after questioning the fusion of church and state in Massachusetts. At Providence, he will establish the first Baptist church in America and his writings on religious liberty will influence the development of religious tolerance in the colonies.
